Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PrimeSwifts LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit primeswifts.com (the “Site”), contact us, or purchase our video production and editing services.
We are the data controller for the personal information described here.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you give us
- Contact and enquiry data — name, email address, company or brand name, budget range, service of interest and the contents of your message when you submit our contact form or email us.
- Project data — briefs, scripts, text, footage, images, logos, brand guidelines and any other material you send us so we can produce your video.
- Transaction data — billing name, billing address, invoice records and the amount and date of payment. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor; we never receive or store your full card number.
- Correspondence — emails and messages exchanged with us, including feedback and revision requests.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, language and referring URL.
- Usage data — pages viewed, time on page and links clicked, where analytics is enabled.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
1.3 Information from third parties
We may receive limited information from our payment processors (payment confirmation and fraud signals), our email and hosting providers, and analytics providers where enabled.
1.4 What this website does not do
For clarity, as at the date shown above: this Site is a static website. It runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party scripts, it sets no cookies, and it stores nothing in a database of its own. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our email inbox — and where we use a third-party form provider to receive them, that provider processes the message on our behalf under contract. Payments are not taken on this website; they are handled separately through a payment processor once you have approved a quotation.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (such as health, biometric, political or religious information) and ask you not to send such data unless it is genuinely required for your project.
2. How we use your information
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Responding to enquiries and preparing quotations | Contact and enquiry data | Steps prior to a contract; legitimate interests |
| Producing and delivering your project | Project data, contact data | Performance of a contract |
| Taking payment, invoicing and accounting | Transaction data | Performance of a contract; legal obligation |
| Customer support and revisions | Correspondence, project data | Performance of a contract |
| Securing the Site and preventing fraud or abuse | Technical data | Legitimate interests |
| Improving the Site and our services | Usage data | Consent (analytics cookies); legitimate interests |
| Sending service updates or, with consent, marketing emails | Contact data | Consent; legitimate interests |
| Complying with law and defending legal claims | Any relevant data | Legal obligation; legitimate interests |
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
3. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only as needed:
- Hosting and domain providers — to operate the Site.
- Email providers — to receive and reply to your messages.
- Payment processors — to take payment and issue receipts.
- File transfer and cloud storage providers — to receive your footage and deliver finished files.
- Analytics providers — where enabled and permitted by your cookie choices.
- Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where necessary.
- Contractors — vetted editors, animators and voice talent working on your project under confidentiality obligations.
We may also disclose information where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a public authority, or to protect our rights, safety or property. If our business is sold or reorganised, information may transfer to the successor entity under this Policy.
4. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional technical and organisational measures.
5. How long we keep information
| Category | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not become projects | Up to 24 months from last contact |
| Project files and deliverables | Up to 12 months after final delivery, then deleted from active storage |
| Contracts, invoices and tax records | Up to 7 years, as required by law |
| Marketing consents and opt-outs | Until withdrawn, plus a suppression record |
| Server and security logs | Typically up to 12 months |
You may ask us to delete your project files earlier — see clause 7.
6. How we protect information
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, reputable providers and a need-to-know approach among our team and contractors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please do not send us highly sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for your project.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- delete your information (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
- lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, request deletion or correction, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any right, email ilyass@primeswifts.com. We respond within 30 days (or 45 days for CCPA requests, where extensions are permitted). We may need to verify your identity before acting.
8. Children
The Site and Services are intended for business users and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Cookies
Details of the cookies and similar technologies we use, and how to control them, are set out in our Cookie Policy.
10. Third-party links
The Site may link to external websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to read their policies.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
